Tácito

During the last 9 years, Nicolás Hardmeier has taken different paths, always related to electronic music. Born in Argentina in 1979, this producer has received the influence of a mix of cultures in his family, a Croacian mother and a Swiss grandfather.

In 2001, Nicolás decided to move to Barcelona and devote himself to the electronic music production. Few months later, he joined Go Lem System, a band mixing live music with dub and drum and bass sessions. After 5 years playing and producing with Go Lem System (performing in more than 15 countries, important festivals like Summer Jam- Alemania, Womex-España, Womad-España, Wychwood and Larmer Tree Festival in England and with 2 cds edited by K Industria -with the participation of Manu Chao as guest in two songs, plus many tracks in compilations), in 2007, the band decided to stop playing, and Nicolás focused more on electronic production, mainly in minimal dubby house techno.

After editing his first 2 EP as Tácito: Recluso and Speaking with Attary records (his track Platano ranked in the Top 100 Minimal of Beatport), he joined Román Fleischer (Dirty Room) to create Morikkis, a project combining all their studio skills and the freshness of a live set. This project has taken them to different places such as City Hall (Barcelona), Buda Bar (Barcelona), Bar 25 (Berlin) and Public Life (London). They have edited 2 EP with Trebol Records and Vekton Musik.
